Location

Radymno (49°57' N, 22°50' E) is a city and the center of local administrative unit – Ciscarpathian province, in Yaroslavl district. During the period from 1972 till 1998 the city was administered by Przemyskiej province. The city is located near the Przemyśl Gate, on the territory of Carpathians foot-hill plateau, that fluently passes to the valley of the river San. The city stays on the river Rada near the international highway A-4 Krakow - Korczowa (state boundary) - Lviv. Railway main line in the south part of city goes from Krakow to Przemyśl and further to the boundary crossing point in Medyce.

There is a market-place in the center of the city. The city is built according to the system, character of XIV - XV Centuries, and underwent gradually changes later, mainly in XVIII - XIX Centuries, when many new roads have been built. A few tens of historical buildings of the city have been saved, mostly those constructed at the end of XIX Century and at the beginning of ХХ Century. At the market-place you can see trade pavilion built in the year 1918. Not far from the market you can see baroque stone church of St.Wawrzynets, built in the years 1724-1773. A bell tower built in 1729 and vicarage built in the second half of XVIII of century are located near the church. On the territory of old episcopal acres, located on Lvivska Street, you can see the economic buildings, granaries gates etc., remained from the ancient times, and on Budowlanych street you will find a court yard of the same complex, built in 1920th.

The river San is a well-known place for kayaking. Radymino is located on the water route 'Blue San' in lower part thereof – 'Przemyśl and inflow of San to Vistula'. Certain parts of San coastline are good for camping.
